Three of the four were able to exit the structure upon our arrival.

TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire at the 5000 block of E. 32nd Ave at 11:08 am on Wednesday.

Crews found a single-story residential home, 80% involved with heavy smoke and flames coming from the home. There were four occupants inside, officials say.

“Three of the four were able to exit the structure upon our arrival,” said TFR.

Two adult victims were transported to Tampa General Hospital for further evaluation and treatment with minor to severe injuries.

A primary and secondary search was completed with no other occupants in the home. The fire was under control within 20 minutes.

Investigators from Tampa Fire Rescue, the State Fire Marshal’s Office, and Tampa Police Dept. are investigating the fire’s cause. No other injuries are reported.
