Tensions are boiling over in Minneapolis following a shooting involving Border Patrol agents that has sparked a new wave of intense protests.

Attorney General Pam Bondi went on Fox News to talk about the growing crisis, and she didn’t hold back in blaming local leaders for the mess.

Bondi says the Governor and Mayor have created a dangerous situation by declaring Minneapolis a “sanctuary city.”

She argued that this policy basically invited criminals to the area, listing off serious crimes like robbery and assault to justify why federal agents are there in the first place. She insisted that if the local government won’t protect the citizens, the federal administration will step in to do it.

Bondi also shared some observations about the protests, claiming they look suspicious. She noted that many people in the crowd were wearing expensive, matching gas masks and carrying similar signs, which she believes proves the demonstrations are highly organized rather than spontaneous.

In her view, these protesters are out there specifically to stop police from doing their jobs. The situation has gotten so serious that federal subpoenas have now been sent to the mayor and the governor.

With agencies like the FBI and DEA moving in to help, Bondi made it clear that the federal government is ready to take control to keep the peace, warning that things are changing by the minute.
