In an operation within the past 24 hours, U.S. Central Command forces successfully eliminated five Iranian-backed Houthi uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs) and two missile systems in Yemen.
These systems were deemed to pose an immediate threat to U.S. and coalition forces, as well as commercial ships in the region.

This action was taken to safeguard freedom of navigation and enhance the safety and security of international waters for all vessels, including those belonging to the U.S., coalition partners, and merchant fleets.
