U.S. Destroyers Shred Iranian Attack In Hormuz Transit

Three American destroyers successfully navigated out of the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday following a violent confrontation with Iranian forces.

According to a statement released by President Donald Trump on Truth Social, the U.S. vessels came under direct fire during transit but emerged unscathed.

The engagement resulted in the total destruction of the Iranian attacking force, which consisted of several small boats. The incident involved a multi-layered assault on the American ships, including both missile fire and drone deployments.

Trump reported that the incoming missiles were “easily knocked down” by onboard defense systems, while the drones were “incinerated while in the air.” Describing the aftermath of the aerial defense, Trump noted the drones fell “very much like a butterfly dropping to its grave.”

The Iranian naval presence in the area has shifted toward the use of smaller craft, which Trump characterized as a substitute for a “fully decapitated Navy.” During the skirmish, these boats were reportedly sent to the bottom of the sea “quickly and efficiently.”

Following the engagement, the three destroyers and their crews have returned to their positions within the U.S. naval blockade, a formation Trump referred to as a “Wall of Steel.”

The statement also included a sharp critique of Iranian leadership, labeling them “lunatics” and asserting that the country would utilize nuclear weapons if given the chance.

Trump issued a direct warning regarding future military action, stating that the U.S. would “knock them out a lot harder, and a lot more violently” if a deal is not signed “FAST.”

He emphasized that despite the aggression, the Iranian military would never be allowed the opportunity to deploy nuclear assets.
