In a decisive move to ensure maritime security and protect U.S. and coalition interests, U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) forces successfully eliminated two Iranian-backed Houthi missile systems and a support vehicle within Houthi-controlled territories in Yemen.
Furthermore, a Houthi unmanned aerial vehicle was intercepted and destroyed over the Red Sea.
These actions were deemed necessary as the systems posed a direct and immediate threat to U.S. and coalition forces, as well as merchant vessels operating in the region.
