PASCO COUNTY, FL. – Step up your gardening game while learning at home with free, online offerings from UF/IFAS Pasco County Cooperative Extension Service during the Gardening 365 Virtual Educational Festival Saturday, October 3, 2020. Join highly-trained Master Gardener Volunteers and UF/IFAS Horticulture team members as they share expert advice on fruit trees, bugs, and vegetable gardening.

The one-day event will include 3 sessions:

  • 10:00 a.m. – Backyard Fruit Trees with Master Gardner Volunteer Steve.
    Learn which fruit trees thrive in Central Florida yards and how to care for them.
  • • 11:00 a.m. – Good Bug, Bad Bug with Master Gardner Volunteer Vince.
    Learn to identify the good insects and how to control the bad ones with pest management.
  • 12:00 p.m. – Florida Vegetable Gardening with UF/IFAS Pasco Extension Master Gardner Volunteer Manager, Jim Moll
    Discover the secrets to vegetable gardening success in Central Florida.
