A massive federal investigation has concluded that the previous administration engaged in a coordinated effort to target Christian institutions and individuals through legal action and regulatory policy.
The Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias released its findings today in a 200-page report, backed by 300 pages of exhibits, detailing what it describes as deep-seated discrimination across seventeen different federal agencies.
The review, which involved close cooperation between the Department of Education and the Department of Justice, claims that federal power was frequently used to infringe upon First Amendment rights and religious exercise.
At the center of the report are specific allegations regarding the Department of Education’s enforcement practices. Investigators found that Christian universities, specifically Grand Canyon University and Liberty University, were hit with massive financial penalties that far exceeded fines levied against non-religious schools for more serious violations.

The report characterizes these actions as an unfair focus on faith-based higher education.
“Every American deserves equal treatment under the law, but we continue to discover the magnitude of the Biden Administration’s gross iniquities and flagrant violations of religious liberty—particularly targeting Christians,” stated U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon upon the report’s release.
The findings also delve into the K-12 education system, highlighting a shift in how parental rights and religious beliefs were handled by federal officials.
According to the document, the previous administration appointed a “Book Ban Coordinator” who pressured school districts to keep sexually explicit materials on shelves, even when parents raised religious or moral objections.
Furthermore, the report alleges that federal agencies encouraged schools to facilitate “gender transitions” for students without notifying their parents, a practice the Task Force claims violated parental rights laws and directly impeded the religious exercise of families.
The investigation also scrutinized the application of Title IX, the federal law governing sex-based discrimination. The report asserts that the law was “weaponized” to force the inclusion of biological males in female sports and locker rooms.

This policy reportedly led to instances where Christian schools felt compelled to forfeit athletic competitions rather than violate their religious tenets. In one documented case, an athletic governing body official went as far as to accuse a Christian school of using “religious freedom” as a “guise” for discrimination.
Beyond education, the Task Force documented instances of anti-Christian bias in vaccine mandates and the exclusion of believers from various public programs. The report serves as a foundational document for the current administration’s shift in policy.
Since the establishment of the Task Force via Executive Order 14202 on February 6, 2025, the government has moved to dismantle several of the programs mentioned in the report. This includes the elimination of the Book Ban Coordinator role and the issuance of new guidance reaffirming that parents have a legal right under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) to access all school records, including those related to a child’s gender identity.
While the report focuses heavily on past grievances, it concludes by outlining the current administration’s commitment to religious liberty. Secretary McMahon noted that the Department of Education is now working to ensure that schools and families can operate according to their values without fear of government retribution. The Task Force maintains that these steps are necessary to restore the true intent of Title IX and to protect the constitutional rights of all Americans, regardless of their faith.
