TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Police Department (TPD) has confirmed that Cheryl Ann Johnson, the 67-year-old woman who went missing earlier today from a New Tampa Lowe’s store, has been located safely.
TPD released a statement indicating that Ms. Johnson is no longer missing and is currently in the process of being reunited with her family.
ORIGINAL REPORT: The Tampa Police Department (TPD) has issued an urgent plea for public assistance in locating a missing 67-year-old woman, Cheryl Ann Johnson, who walked away from a New Tampa store this afternoon.
Ms. Johnson was last seen around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Lowe’s located at 6201 Commerce Palms Blvd. Her family has voiced concern, stating she may be experiencing the early stages of memory loss and could be in need of care.
Last Seen Wearing
The Tampa Police provided the following detailed description of Ms. Johnson:
- Age/Race: 67-year-old Black female.
- Clothing: A black Nike jacket, a white, gray, and black blouse, jeans, and black loafers.
- Accessory: She was carrying a distinctive blue purse with flowers.
