TAMPA, Fla. – Jonathan David Philbert has been located and is safe, according to authorities. His family has been notified.
ORIGINAL REPORT: Authorities are asking the public to keep an eye out for a 35-year-old man who vanished late last week.
Jonathan David Philbert was last seen at approximately 11:00 a.m. on June 26 at the HART University Area Transit Center, which is located at 13110 N. 27th Street in Tampa.
The investigation opened after Philbert’s mother contacted the University of South Florida Police Department at around 10:30 p.m. on June 29. She reached out to law enforcement after becoming deeply concerned that her son had not returned home and she had not heard from him.
According to police, Philbert is not a current student or an employee at the University of South Florida. However, his family members are highly concerned for his well-being. They believe he may currently be disoriented and unable to find his way back to his residence.
The USF Police Department is requesting immediate help from both local media outlets and the community to bring Philbert home quickly and safely.
