Purple Alert Canceled For Missing Clearwater Man, Located Safe

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Troy Angelo Graves has been located and is safe, according to Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.


Original Report: Detectives in Pinellas County are urgently searching for a 58-year-old man who disappeared from an assisted living facility early Saturday morning, triggering a statewide Purple Alert.

Authorities identified the missing man as Troy Angelo Graves. According to investigators, staff at the Landmark Assisted Living Facility, located at 3260 McMullen Booth Road in unincorporated Clearwater, last saw Graves on Saturday, December 27, 2025.

Surveillance or witness reports indicate he left the property on foot at approximately 2:58 a.m. He has not been seen since.

Graves has been listed in state and national crime information databases as a Missing and Endangered Adult. A Purple Alert is typically issued in Florida to assist in finding missing adults suffering from a mental or cognitive disability that is not Alzheimer’s or dementia-related.
