A woman accused of killing and dismembering a man while pumped on meth was caught on camera attacking her attorney in court.
Taylor Schabusiness, 24, faces homicide, mutilation, and sexual assault charges in connection with Shad Thyrion’s death in February on 2022.
According to a criminal complaint, Schabusiness told investigators she and the victim were using drugs, including meth, and engaging in sex when the man was strangled.
She then dismembered his body, decapitated the man, and placed body parts in various locations in the home and a vehicle.

During a competency hearing on Tuesday, Valentine’s Day, Schabusiness leaped from her seat and attacked her lawyer, Quinn Jolly, after the judge suggested moving her scheduled trial start date from March 6 to May 15 at the earliest.
According to WBAY, Jolly had asked the court for additional time to prepare for Schabusiness’ trial. Walsh later decided to reschedule her competency hearing as well, setting it for March 6.
After attacking her lawyer, deputies restrained Schabusiness until she appeared calm. She could then be heard asking the deputies what had happened.
