A stop on Turning Point USA’s (TPUSA) “This is the Turning Point” tour at the University of California, Berkeley, was reportedly plunged into chaos on Monday as left-wing protesters clashed with attendees, leading to arrests and scenes described as a “war zone.”
The event took place just two months after the tragic assassination of TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk, amplifying tensions that quickly boiled over into violence. California-based outlet KRON4 confirmed that clashes and multiple arrests occurred on the campus.
Videos posted by Frontlines TPUSA on X captured the dramatic scenes.
One reported altercation, allegedly between an Antifa member and a supporter of President Donald Trump, resulted in two arrests. While it was unclear who initiated the fight, the Trump supporter was filmed with a bloody face and reportedly claimed the Antifa member had tried to rob him.

Footage of the incident also showed a man racially heckling the injured Trump supporter, shouting, “You’re bleeding, white boy!”
Further escalating the unrest, an Antifa member reportedly set off a flare in the middle of a crowd.
“UC Berkeley currently looks like a war zone,” Frontlines posted on X, adding that the flare forced TPUSA event attendees to be rushed inside.
Protesters also reportedly impeded four exits from the event, trapping attendees. Chants of “Fuck you, fascist” could be heard as those attempting to leave faced a large crowd of screaming demonstrators.
“ANTIFA protesters blocked every entrance and then began running to swarm attendees after they found out the one unblocked exit they were using,” Frontlines reported.
