WATCH: “Road Rage” Florida Troopers Searching For Car That Intentionally Caused Crash On I-75

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Florida Highway Patrol Troopers are searching for a green Toyota sedan that intentionally cut off a dump truck traveling southbound on I-75 near the 273 Milepost, just south of SR-56. 

Troopers say the incident happened around 9:50 am on Thursday.

The sedan entered the dump truck’s path, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle.

The dump truck then rotated into the path of two other southbound tractor-trailers, causing those vehicles to crash. 



No injuries were reported by the commercial vehicle drivers during the crash, which closed portions of I-75 until 11:40 AM.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect vehicle is asked to call *FHP or **TIPS.
