TAMPA, Fla. – A water main break has necessitated the complete closure of North 22nd Street between East Chelsea Street and East Genesee Street in Tampa, Florida. The Tampa Water Department is currently working to repair the break.
Drivers are advised to exercise caution in the area and seek alternate routes. Barricades and signs have been placed to guide traffic flow, but modifications may be necessary as work progresses.
The Tampa Water Department anticipates that repairs will be finished and normal traffic patterns will resume by 5:00 PM on Thursday, September 12th. However, the work schedule is subject to change depending on weather conditions.
The department appreciates the public’s patience and understanding during this inconvenience.
