Water Shut Off In Valrico Due to Water Main Break

VALRICO, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Water Resources Department has temporarily shut off potable water in the Bloomingdale Oaks Subdivision in Valrico to repair a water line break that occurred Thursday afternoon.

The 8-inch water line break occurred at around 4 p.m. in the 3400 block of Cade Lane in Valrico, just south of Bloomingdale Avenue and west of Lithia-Pinecrest Road. This has impacted 184 single-family homes in the area.

Crews are also on scene placing traffic barricades to divert vehicles from the area. A precautionary boil water notice will be issued once repairs are complete.
