Wesley Chapel Man Killed In Sunday Motorcycle Crash

PASCO COUNTY, FL, – A 48-year-old Wesley Chapel man was killed Sunday after a crash that happened on Sunday around 10:00 am.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the Wesley Chapel man was riding a motorcycle northbound on Jessamine Road and approaching the intersection to Amberlea Road.

Troopers say the man overtook and passed other traffic on the left, entering the southbound lane. Upon returning to the northbound lane, the man collided with the side of another motorcycle.

Upon impact, the Wesley Chapel man’s motorcycle overturned and came to a stop on the east grass shoulder while the second motorcycle overturned and came to a stop in the travel lanes.

The Wesley Chapel man was transported to an area hospital but later died from injuries suffered during the crash.
