Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller outlines President Trump’s National Security Presidential Memorandum targeting groups like Antifa after surge in political violence.
White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller said Tuesday on Fox News’ “Hannity” that the Trump administration is prepared to “dismantle” radical left-wing terror groups in the United States “one by one,” using a recently signed National Security Presidential Memorandum (NSPM) executive order.
Miller’s remarks follow a significant spike in political tensions, which reached a flashpoint after the assassination of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder Charlie Kirk. The White House deputy chief, who was recently labeled a “fascist” by the press office of Democrat California Gov. Gavin Newsom, accused the Democratic Party of openly “aids and encourages and foments violence.”
“We all lived through the unspeakable tragedy of two nearly successful assassination attempts on President Trump… We watched in agony and horror as a crazed left-wing terrorist murdered Charlie Kirk… We watched the UnitedHealthcare CEO get gunned down in cold blood. We saw just days ago a sniper try to take out ICE officers,” Miller stated. He then connected these attacks, asserting the killers “have been radicalized by Democrat Party rhetoric that describes anyone who doesn’t share their warped, twisted worldview as fascist, worthy, by implication of execution.”
Miller further alleged that Democrat-led police departments, judges, mayors, and governors refuse to arrest and jail violent left-wing agitators like Antifa, even when violence is “openly occurring.”
Following Kirk’s assassination, President Trump signed the NATIONAL SECURITY PRESIDENTIAL MEMORANDUM/NSPM-7. Miller explained that the order is based on the assessment that recent political violence is not random, but sophisticated.
“President Trump issued an NSPM last week that for the first time ever establishes a national counterterrorism strategy to dismantle these radical left-wing terror groups, including but not limited to Antifa,” Miller said.
He concluded with a stern promise from the administration: “President Trump’s going to find the members. He’s going to find the funders. He’s going to find the violent terrorists. He’s going to find everybody involved in these criminal conspiracies. And one by one, we’re going to dismantle them.”
The new strategy comes amid months of escalating rhetoric between Republicans and Democrats, which intensified during the 2024 presidential election cycle. Recent attacks cited by Miller include a shooting at an ICE facility in Dallas last week, where shell casings were found engraved with “Anti-ICE,” and an incident where a Sacramento man allegedly shot at an ABC affiliate and named key administration officials as “next.”
