A single winning ticket for the $800 million Mega Millions jackpot was sold in Bradenton, Florida, for the drawing held on July 28, 2026.
Florida Lottery officials confirmed the winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at the Wawa located at 14510 State Road 70 East. The ticket matched all five white ball numbers—34, 48, 49, 59, and 70—along with the yellow Mega Ball number, 12.
The estimated cash value option for the jackpot is $344.2 million. Under Florida law, jackpot winners have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their prize. Players who wish to choose the one-time, lump-sum cash payment must file their claim within 60 days.
“We are thrilled to congratulate Florida’s newest Mega Millions jackpot winner on this incredible, life-changing moment,” Florida Lottery Secretary Reginald Dixon said in a statement. “This win is an exciting reminder that every ticket carries the possibility of a dream come true. We are especially grateful to our valued Florida Lottery players, whose continued support helps generate funding for education across our state. Every ticket purchased contributes to creating brighter futures for Florida’s students.”
Because the jackpot exceeds $1 million, the winner must claim the prize in person at the Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. Prizes of $599 or less can be collected at any authorized lottery retailer or district office, while prizes between $600 and $1,000,000 must be claimed at a district office.
Since joining the Mega Millions system in 2013, the Florida Lottery has raised more than $1 billion for state education programs and awarded over $1 billion in total prizes to more than 87 million players.
