Winter Haven Police Seeking Walmart Thief That Almost Got The Goods

WINTER HAVEN, FL. – Police in Winter Haven are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect that went on a Walmart shopping spree with no intention of paying.

According to police, the man pictured, entered Walmart at 355 Cypress Gardens Blvd, on January 26, 2022, around 4:20 p.m.

Investigators say the man filled the cart full of various items totaling more than $930. He then exits the store next to the pharmacy area with no attempt to pay.

Associates contacted him outside of the store where he struggled with them as they attempted to get the cart from him. The associates were able to take control of the cart and he fled the area in an unknown vehicle.
