Florida mom Calandra Stallworth was last seen in Crestview, Florida, on March 29, 2017, and hasn’t been heard from since.

On March 27, 2017, Stallworth dropped her two daughters off at her grandmother’s home next door to her home, so she could go to work at Hilton Sandestin Beach Resort in Destin, Florida.

She called home that same evening to say she was off work on her way back, but she never arrived.

Stallworth was reported missing by her family that night.

Two days later, on March 29, Stallworth showed up at the police station in Crestview and asked them to cancel the missing person report, stating she had been in Alabama with her boyfriend, Antwon Montrex Smith, and hadn’t been able to get in touch with her family due to a bad cell phone signal.

On April 2, 2017, Stallworth’s car was pulled over by police after it left a Motel 6 on Harbor Boulevard in Destin, Florida.

Her boyfriend of three years was in the driver’s seat, and another woman, 18-year-old Taleah Durm, was with him.

Durm had been reported missing a few days earlier, on March 29 and police canceled her missing person report.

Smith was arrested for cocaine and marijuana possession, driving without a license, and probation violation.

Smith told officers that he had dropped Stallworth off at another man’s residence and didn’t have further details on the whereabouts of Stallworth.

Police say Stallworth’s purse and cellular phone were in the car the day Smith was arrested.

Smith was sentenced to prison on the drug possession charge and other charges.

In October 2020, Smith was charged with capital murder in the shooting deaths of two men, Ryan Frazier and Joshua Carroll, both from the Seattle, Washington area.

The two men, who were cable installers, were in the area after being forced to evacuate from Louisiana because of the threat of Hurricane Sally at the time. Investigators believe the two men were shot in a drug deal gone bad in the late-night, early morning hours of Oct. 8 or 9 off of County Road 95 near Elberta, Alabama.

When Smith was arrested for the murders, he was driving Frazier’s vehicle. He is awaiting trial in the murders.
