Woman Dies After Jumping From I-4 Overpass In Tampa

A woman has died after jumping from an I-4 overpass in Tampa, according to police.

TAMPA, Fla. – A 50-year-old woman has died after jumping from an I-4 overpass in Tampa, according to police.

According to investigators, Tampa Police officers responded to 50th Street and Interstate 4 just after 4:00 pm on Monday, in reference to an adult female who had jumped from the I-4 overpass.

A 50-year-old Hispanic female was found in the northbound lanes of 50th Street.

She was transported to Tampa General Hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
