PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A woman crossing US 19 in Pasco County was struck by a car and killed Saturday morning around 5:45 am according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers say a car was traveling southbound on US-19 approaching Regency Park Boulevard when the woman walked westbound across the highway and entered the path of the vehicle.
The car, driven by a 33-year-old Hudson man, collided with the woman. She was transported to an area hospital where she later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The woman’s age and residency was not immediately available.
