HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla – A woman has tragically died in a crash that happened on Thursday in Dade City, Hernando County.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a car was traveling eastbound on Ridge Manor Boulevard, west of Knollwood Drive, and came upon a vehicle that slowed rapidly and began to pull to the outside shoulder.
Troopers say the car traveled around the vehicle to pass and collided with the woman standing in the westbound lane.

The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
