A woman’s body was found floating in a river Sunday and deputies say that her death is suspicious.
Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is on scene at the Half Moon Island Preserve and Boat Ramp near the Nassau River.
According to investigators, a murder investigation is underway after a woman, between the age of 20 and 40, was found deceased and floating in the Nassau River.
Investigators say the death is suspicious in nature and the cause of death is being determined.
