PASCO COUNTY, FL. – A 45-year-old Zephyrhills man died after a crash around 10:20 pm on Thursday night.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the man was traveling northbound on Eiland Boulevard approaching Handcart Road when an armadillo crossed into the motorcycle’s path.
Troopers said when the motorcycle struck the animal, the rider lost control of the motorcycle, overturned, and was ejected, suffering fatal injuries at the crash scene.
