ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. – A 24-year-old man from Zephyrhills was fatally injured in a single-vehicle accident early Wednesday morning on Coats Road.
The driver, whose name has not yet been released, was traveling southbound in a Chevy Tahoe around 3:05 a.m. when he struck large tree debris in the roadway.

Troopers say the impact caused the vehicle to rotate, collide with two mailboxes, and overturn.
Tragically, the driver was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
A 20-year-old male passenger from Dade City was uninjured in the crash.
