ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. – Zephyrhills is gearing up to trade its quiet morning streets for a wall of sound and the smell of fried catfish. Main Street Zephyrhills has officially announced that the 2026 Founders Day celebration is hitting the Downtown Historic District on Saturday, March 28. This year, organizers are pivoting to a high-energy theme dubbed “Rhythm in the Hillz Music Festival & Fish Fry.”
The party kicks off at 11:00 AM at 38500 5th Avenue, but the real noise starts an hour later. At noon, the annual Founders Day Parade will roll through the heart of the city, serving as the centerpiece for a day that honors the town’s 1910 establishment.
For those planning to spend the day downtown, the schedule is packed until 6:00 PM. Local artisans and vendors are setting up a marketplace for shoppers, while gearheads can check out a classic car show. Families with children will have access to a dedicated “kid zone” filled with activities.

However, the main draw this year is the sensory combo of live music and community food. Between sets from various live performers, attendees can grab plates from the community fish fry or browse a selection of local food trucks.
“Founders Day is an annual tradition that celebrates Zephyrhills’ rich history and heritage,” organizers stated. According to Main Street Zephyrhills, the goal of the signature event remains the same as it has been for decades: bringing the community together while giving a platform to the local businesses and talent that keep the downtown area alive.
There is no cost for admission to the festival grounds, and the city is encouraging everyone from lifelong residents to first-time visitors to pack the historic district for the day-long bash.
