Zephyrhills Woman Killed When Ejected From Pickup Truck In Crash On US-301

A 42-year-old Zephyrhills woman was killed in a crash that happened around 1:25 am on Sunday, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A 42-year-old Zephyrhills woman was killed in a crash that happened around 1:25 am on Sunday, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers say a car, driven by an 18-year-old Riverview woman, was traveling westbound on Ranch Road and turned left onto US-301 and into the path of a pickup truck.

Troopers say the pickup truck traveled off the roadway, overturned, and collided with a fence.

As the pickup truck overturned, the passenger, a 42-year-old Zephyrhills woman, was ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries at the crash scene.

The driver of the pickup truck, a 42-year-old Zephyrhills man, suffered serious injuries in the crash.
