POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A man with a lengthy criminal record was arrested Friday afternoon after allegedly stealing a bicycle from the Mulberry Walmart.
Bruce Roy Bradshaw, 40, of Mulberry, was taken into custody by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. This latest incident adds to a substantial criminal history for Bradshaw, which includes eleven felony convictions, fourteen misdemeanor convictions, and three prior incarcerations in state prison.
Deputies responded to the Mulberry Walmart at approximately 2:45 p.m. on Friday after receiving a report of a stolen bicycle. According to authorities, Bradshaw is accused of taking a green Ozark bicycle valued at $250.

Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies quickly located Bradshaw about half a mile from the Walmart, at a nearby 7-Eleven. He was subsequently arrested and charged with felony petit theft.
Additionally, Bradshaw has been trespassed from Walmart, prohibiting him from entering the property in the future.
