Tampa Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire at the 3600 block of N. 54th St. at 8:42 a.m. Saturday morning. Rescue 16 was first on scene and found a single story home with heavy smoke and fire showing. Due to multiple companies being at another fire, TFR requested mutual aid from Hillsborough County Fire Rescue Engine 32. Crews moved to the rear side of the house where the majority of the fire was found. A primary and secondary search was completed and found no occupants in the home.

Tampa Fire Rescue Rescue Respond To House Fire On N. 54th St. Saturday

TAMPA, FL. – Tampa Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire at the 3600 block of N. 54th St. at 8:42 a.m. Saturday morning.

Rescue 16 was first on the scene and found a single-story home with heavy smoke and fire showing.

Due to multiple companies being at another fire, TFR requested mutual aid from Hillsborough County Fire Rescue Engine 32.

Crews moved to the rear side of the house where the majority of the fire was found. A primary and secondary search was completed and found no occupants in the home.

The fire was under control within 30 minutes. There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians reported at the scene.

“Our fire investigator was on scene and the cause of the fire is under investigation,” said Tampa Fire Rescue in a statement.
