TAMPA, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) is investigating a homicide following a fatal shooting incident at an apartment complex in Tampa.
Deputies responded to a call reporting shots fired at the 12401 block of Orange Grove Drive at approximately 3:45 a.m. on Sunday.
Upon arrival at the scene, deputies discovered a male victim with multiple gunshot wounds. The individual was transported to AdventHealth Carrollwood Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

“This senseless act of violence has deeply impacted our community, particularly on a day often spent with loved ones,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said. “The detectives of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office are fully engaged in a comprehensive investigation to ascertain all facts and ensure the responsible individual is held accountable. Our thoughts are with the victim’s family and friends during this profoundly difficult time.”
