A Texas man is $1 million richer after playing the Florida Lottery. David Le, 30, traveled to Tallahassee recently to claim a substantial prize from the “$1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR” Scratch-Off game.
Le opted to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment, totaling $640,000.00.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Walmart Liquor Box located at 1619 Del Prado Boulevard S. in Cape Coral, Florida. For selling the winning ticket, the retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission from the Florida Lottery.

The “$1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR” is a $50 Scratch-Off game that boasts significant payout potential. The game features two top prizes offering $1 million a year for life, alongside 234 prizes of $1 million. With over $1.6 billion in total cash prizes available, the game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-4.50.
Scratch-off games continue to be a vital component of the Florida Lottery’s portfolio, accounting for approximately 74 percent of ticket sales in fiscal year 2023-2024.
