A 71-year-old man from Red Oak, Oklahoma, miraculously escaped injury this afternoon when the vehicle he was driving jackknifed on Interstate 75 near milepost 326 in Sumter County, Florida.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was traveling northbound on I-75 in a Nissan Titan, which was towing a Dodge pickup truck. As a tractor-trailer passed his vehicle, the resulting wind gust caused the driver to lose control of the Nissan Titan.

The sudden loss of control led to the Titan departing the roadway and subsequently jackknifing. The vehicle and the towed pickup truck came to a final stop off the side of the interstate.
Emergency responders confirmed that the 71-year-old driver was fortunate to have sustained no injuries.
