The Florida Chamber Leadership Cabinet is gearing up for its 5th Annual Leadership Conference on Safety, Health + Sustainability, promising a dynamic and groundbreaking experience for attendees.
Scheduled for May 15–16, 2025, at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, this milestone event will introduce several new initiatives aimed at propelling Florida towards becoming the safest, healthiest, and most sustainable state in the nation.
Headlining the conference is the debut of the Florida Pitch Tank with the Sharks, a live pitch competition offering attendees a unique opportunity to witness the art of persuasive communication to C-suite executives.

The panel of judges will feature prominent figures such as Daymond John, star of Shark Tank and founder of FUBU, and Matt Higgins, entrepreneur and bestselling author, alongside other influential business leaders. This isn’t about product pitches; instead, it will focus on strategies for effectively advocating for safety, mental health, and sustainability initiatives within organizations, even without immediate return on investment. Attendees can expect live coaching, real-time feedback, and actionable insights applicable to their own leadership journeys.
Adding to the innovative format, the conference will move away from traditional breakout sessions to introduce Competitive Cohort Tracks. Led by Victory Strategies, this immersive, team-based experience will engage attendees in interactive leadership challenges focused on cultivating stronger safety cultures, advancing mental health strategies, and promoting sustainability initiatives. This hands-on training aims to cultivate the next generation of EHS leaders through real-world scenarios.
Building on the conference’s momentum, the Florida Chamber Leadership Cabinet will officially launch Florida Chamber EHS Connect, a groundbreaking business-led EHS digital platform. This year-round resource will provide exclusive access to leadership webinars, peer networking opportunities, and an expanding library of nearly 20 on-demand courses led by nationally recognized EHS organizations and leaders. This initiative underscores the commitment to fostering continuous learning and collaboration beyond the conference dates.

Registered attendees will be eligible for numerous high-value raffle prizes, including Disney Resort vacation packages, Carnival Cruise certificates, and theme park experiences.
In a special pre-conference event on May 14, 2025, the Chamber will host a complimentary Mental Health Resilience Workshop for frontline heroes, including first responders, law enforcement, and veterans. This full-day session at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will equip these vital individuals with essential tools to manage trauma, build resilience, and support their mental well-being.
