SARASOTA, Fla. – The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office announced today the arrest of a second suspect in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred at Twin Lakes Park on Sunday, November 3, 2024.
Jonathan Vivar, 18 of Bradenton, was apprehended earlier Friday. Vivar is now facing a charge of Homicide: Murder Dangerous Depraved without Premeditation in the death of 17-year-old Eric Santana-Santana.

The incident unfolded at Twin Lakes Park during an after-hours party in November. Shots were fired, tragically resulting in the death of Santana-Santana, who died to gunshot-related injuries.
Vivar is currently in custody at the Sarasota County Correctional Facility.
