A man who operated kiosks at an Ohio mall has pleaded guilty in federal court to trafficking counterfeit goods, admitting to selling replica items bearing protected trademarks.
Emre Teski, 25, a citizen of Turkey, entered the plea in federal court here. According to court documents, Teski operated kiosks at the Mall at Fairfield Commons in Beavercreek, where he sold items alleged to be counterfeit.
Prosecutors stated that one of Teski’s kiosks primarily sold replica professional soccer jerseys and hats featuring trademarks of well-known teams such as FC Barcelona, Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami, Manchester City, and Arsenal.

Another kiosk operated by Teski allegedly sold oversized slippers designed to resemble sneakers, incorporating Nike and Air Jordan trademarks.
Court documents indicate that Teski sold an investigator counterfeit Nike slippers bearing the Nike Swoosh trademark and a counterfeit pink Messi jersey.
The total domestic value of all items seized by federal agents in connection with the case is estimated to be nearly $150,000.

Teski was arrested in March 2025. In addition to the counterfeiting charge, court documents note that Teski illegally entered the United States from Mexico in September 2022, crossing the international boundary without inspection at a designated Port of Entry.
He was ordered removed from the United States on January 3, 2024, but has appealed this decision and was permitted employment authorization while his appeal is pending.
