SEFFNER, Fla.- The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) is currently investigating a homicide that occurred in the 100 block of Phillips Drive in Seffner.
At approximately 3:14 a.m. Wednesday morning, the HCSO Communications Center received a 911 call reporting a shooting in the residential area. Deputies responded, arriving on the scene at 3:17 a.m.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered an adult male victim on the property who had sustained at least one gunshot wound to his upper body. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

“Violence has no place in our neighborhoods, and our detectives are committed to uncovering the full truth of what happened,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “We urge anyone who saw or heard something, no matter how small it may seem, to come forward and contact us.”
