RIVERVIEW, Fla. – Hillsborough County Fire Rescue (HCFR) contained a residential structure fire in Riverview this afternoon after multiple 911 calls flooded their emergency dispatch center at 11:55 AM. The calls reported flames and smoke emanating from a home located on Crest Creek Drive.
The first engine to arrive on the scene was met with visible smoke and flames billowing from the single-story residence. Firefighters immediately initiated an interior attack, aggressively battling the blaze. They had the fire under control within 15 minutes.

Following the suppression of the fire, crews conducted thorough searches of the home to ensure the safety of any occupants.
Fortunately, no individuals were found inside the residence. However, one adult civilian male was treated at the scene and subsequently transported to a local hospital. Authorities reported his condition as stable.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation as HCFR works to determine the origin and circumstances surrounding the incident.
