ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Peter Hayward, 68, of St. Petersburg, was arrested today following the execution of a residential search warrant at his home. The St. Petersburg Police Department confirmed that the arrest was made in connection with an ongoing investigation into child pornography.
According to authorities, the search of Hayward’s residence resulted in the seizure of multiple electronic devices. Subsequent forensic analysis of these devices revealed the presence of child pornography.
Hayward has been charged with 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography. He was taken into custody and is currently being processed.

The St. Petersburg Police Department emphasized that this investigation remains active. Detectives are continuing to pursue all available leads and gather further information relevant to the case.
