The Florida Lottery announced Monday that Natalie Ramos, 54, of Jacksonville, has claimed a top prize from the $1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR Scratch-Off game. Ramos opted to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $16,000,000.00.

Ramos purchased her winning ticket at the Walmart located at 6767 103rd Street in Jacksonville. The retailer will receive a $50,000 bonus commission for selling the lucky Scratch-Off.

The $50 $1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR game offers players the chance to win two top prizes of $1 million a year for life, as well as 234 prizes of $1 million. The game boasts over $1.6 billion in total cash prizes, with overall odds of winning at 1-in-4.50.

Scratch-off games continue to be a significant contributor to the Florida Lottery, accounting for approximately 74 percent of ticket sales in the fiscal year 2023-2024.

Since their inception, Scratch-Off games have awarded over $66.9 billion in prizes and created 2,350 millionaires while also generating more than $20.09 billion for the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF).
