The Ted Lindsay Award, presented annually to “the most outstanding player in the NHL,” is unique in its selection process, with the vote cast exclusively by members of the NHLPA. Kucherov, who was also a finalist for the award in 2023-24, received the trophy directly from his teammates in Tampa Bay, a testament to his impact both on and off the ice.

Kucherov’s 2024-25 campaign was nothing short of spectacular.

The Maykop, Adygea, Russia native dominated the league, accumulating a remarkable 121 points (37 goals, 84 assists) in just 78 regular-season games, securing his third career Art Ross Trophy as the league’s leading scorer.
