Secret Service Tip Leads To Arrest Of Texas Fugitive In Winter Haven: Polk County Sheriff

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A collaborative effort between the U.S. Secret Service and local law enforcement led to the arrest of a Dallas County, Texas fugitive residing in Winter Haven on Tuesday.

Polk County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Eldridge received intelligence from the U.S. Secret Service on June 3rd concerning a wanted individual. The suspect was identified as 32-year-old Mariana Isabel Moncada Bohorquez, who was sought by Dallas County, Texas, for engaging in organized criminal activity.

Following up on the information, PCSO Deputy Piche successfully located Mariana Bohorquez at a residence on Emily Drive in Winter Haven and took her into custody without incident.

Ms. Bohorquez is currently being held and is expected to be extradited to Dallas, Texas, to face the charges of engaging in organized criminal activity.

Due to her illegal status in the United States, further action regarding her potential deportation to Venezuela may also be pursued.
