High-Speed I-4 Motorcycle Crash In Hillsborough County Claims Orlando Man’s Life

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A 39-year-old Orlando man died early this morning following a high-speed motorcycle crash on Interstate 4 in Hillsborough County. The incident, which occurred just west of US-301 at approximately 2:06 AM, involved a Yamaha motorcycle and an Audi Q7 SUV.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) report, a Yamaha motorcycle operated by the Orlando man was traveling eastbound on I-4 in the center lane at a high rate of speed.

The motorcyclist reportedly lost control, overturned, and veered into the inside lane, where it then collided with the rear of an Audi Q7 driven by a 67-year-old Seminole man.

Tragically, the motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash. The driver and any passengers within the Audi Q7 were uninjured.
