The Oklahoma Attorney General’s office announced Friday the addition of Heather Lynn Harjo, 38, to Attorney General Gentner Drummond’s 10 Most Wanted list. Harjo is wanted in connection with the April 28, 2025, murder of 21-year-old Summer Cheyenne Martin in Ada.

According to investigators, the fatal incident occurred at an Ada residence where Martin was visiting a friend. Harjo and another man reportedly arrived at the home, leading to an argument between Harjo and Martin. The verbal dispute quickly escalated into a physical altercation.

Police reports indicate that Martin attempted to strike Harjo with a power tool, but was restrained by a witness. Following this, Harjo allegedly shot and fatally wounded Martin before fleeing the scene.

“It is our hope that Oklahomans can help lead to the capture of this dangerous individual,” Attorney General Drummond stated. “The 10 Most Wanted list has proven to be a valuable tool in helping law enforcement track down fugitives from justice.”

Harjo, who is also known by the aliases Heather Thompson and Heather Lynn Brown, is considered dangerous. The Attorney General’s Office is collaborating with the Eastern District U.S. Marshal’s Task Force in the search for her.
