CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. – According to Florida Highway Patrol, an 80-year-old man from Inglis was killed in a Citrus County crash Wednesday.
Troopers say around 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, a woman traveling southbound on US-19, at the intersection of West Dunnellon road, turned left and in front of the Inglis man’s SUV.
The front of her SUV collided with the left side of his SUV, which then overturned onto the east grass shoulder.
The man was transported to the hospital but later died from injures sustained in the crash. Police say the man was not wearing a seatbelt.
