TAMPA, Fla. – As millions prepare for Memorial Day weekend travel, AAA is once again activating its “Tow to Go” program, offering a free and confidential ride to impaired drivers to prevent alcohol-related traffic incidents.

The Auto Club Group’s initiative will be available in Florida and several other states from Friday evening through Tuesday morning.

This well-established program, which has removed nearly 30,000 impaired drivers from U.S. roadways over the past 25 years, aims to provide a safe alternative for individuals who find themselves unfit to drive. When a call is placed, a tow truck will be dispatched to transport both the driver and their vehicle to a safe location within a 10-mile radius. The service is available to AAA members and non-members alike.
