SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. – An Arcadia man was arrested on Tuesday, June 3, by the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) on numerous charges related to the transmission and possession of child pornography.
Colton Clark, 29, with a date of birth of November 9, 1995, was taken into custody without incident in Sarasota County. He is currently being held at the Sarasota County Correctional Facility.

The investigation that led to Clark’s arrest began in 2024, stemming from tips received by the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. Detectives from the SCSO’s ICAC unit and the Tactical (TAC) Unit worked to obtain an arrest warrant for Clark.
According to official reports, Clark faces a total of 34 charges: 24 counts of Transmission of Child Pornography and 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
The DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation.
