BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Lottery announced Monday that Ruth Cain, of Brooksville, has claimed a $2 million top prize from the TRIPLE JACKPOT Scratch-Off game. Cain received her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment totaling $1,209,700.00 at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.
Cain purchased her winning ticket at the RaceTrac located at 30480 Cortez Boulevard in Brooksville. The retailer will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The $10 TRIPLE JACKPOT Scratch-Off game features over $132 million in total cash prizes, including four top prizes of $2 million. The game boasts overall odds of winning at 1-in-3.49.
Scratch-Off games are a significant part of the Florida Lottery’s game portfolio, accounting for approximately 74 percent of ticket sales in fiscal year 2023-2024.
Since their inception, Scratch-Off games have awarded more than $66.9 billion in prizes, created 2,350 millionaires, and generated over $20.09 billion for the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF).
