PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A 75-year-old Dade City woman has died following a two-vehicle collision Monday afternoon at the intersection of US-301 and the US-98 Bypass. The crash involving a Jeep Cherokee and a tractor-trailer happened around 3:05 PM.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 21-year-old Fresno, California man was driving a tractor-trailer northbound on US-301. At the US-98 Bypass intersection, the tractor-trailer attempted to make a left turn.

Simultaneously, a Jeep Cherokee, driven by the Dade City woman, was traveling southbound on US-301. As the tractor-trailer turned, it entered the path of the oncoming Jeep, resulting in a collision.
The driver of the Jeep Cherokee sustained serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital, where she later died from her injuries. .
