CLEARWATER, Fla. – Clearwater Fire & Rescue crews responded to a residential fire at the Twin Lakes Mobile Home Park, located at 2419 Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard, in the early hours of Thursday morning. The call reporting the blaze came in at 3:38 a.m.

Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy fire emanating from the rear of a mobile home. Their swift action was crucial in preventing the flames from spreading to adjacent residences within the densely populated park.

The sole occupant of the affected mobile home managed to escape the structure before the fire crews arrived on the scene. The individual sustained minor injuries and was subsequently transported to Morton Plant Hospital for medical attention.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by authorities. Officials have not yet released further details regarding the circumstances leading to the blaze.
